NEW YORK, April 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- BMI announced today that GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Benson Boone will be honored with the BMI Champion Award at the 2025 BMI Pop Awards on May 13 at Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, CA. The evening will celebrate the rising star's impressive career which has earned him industry accolades and achievements and a devoted fanbase around the world. BMI's Pop Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Publisher of the Year and BMI's 50 most-performed Pop songs in the U.S. of the previous year will also be named. The private event will be hosted by BMI President & CEO Mike O'Neill, VP; Worldwide Creative Barbara Cane; VP, Creative, NY Samantha Cox and VP, Creative, LA Tracie Verlinde.
