WEST CHESTER, Ohio, May 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Home furniture and decor retailer Grandin Road announced today a charitable media event to benefit Autism Speaks through NBC Universal's George to the Rescue broadcast show. George to the Rescue is an Emmy® Award-winning syndicated home renovation show that seeks families in need of upgrades to their homes due to recent unexpected illness, afflictions, and life-changing injuries with the end goal of improving the quality of life for the show's homeowners and families.
Grandin Road will participate in the episode to air on or around 4/29/2017 which features a family whose son is on the autism spectrum, with the goal of improving color, tactile, and sensory issues in the home. Designer Tyler Wisler has selected Grandin Road products that will be donated to the family to assist in the renovation.
