Grandoozy Announces Devour Denver, A Mouth Watering Lineup Of 30 Local Restaurants And Food Trucks

DENVER, July 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Grandoozy, Denver's first ever, three-day, multi-format festival from Superfly, the co-creators of Bonnaroo and Outside Lands, debuts its food and drink lineup representing some of the best restaurants, food trucks, distilleries and breweries found in the region. In an effort to create an unparalleled Colorado-themed experience, Grandoozy is bringing festivalgoers an adventurous and exciting array of food and drink offerings from local Denver favorites. The festival has created three unique experiences to house its food and drink program: Devour Denver, Flight School, and Arts + Crafts, all created to compliment Grandoozy's lineup of over 50 music acts headlined by Kendrick Lamar (Fri), Florence + The Machine (Sat), and Stevie Wonder (Sun). Devour Denver boasts an impressive 30-part lineup of Denver area food all-stars, ranging from neighborhood favorites to award winning heavy-hitters. Featuring bites from both restaurants and food trucks, Devour Denver will represent an incredibly diverse array of cuisine sure to satisfy every foodie's taste buds.

Behind Devour Denver are 8 of the city's leading culinary experts: Adam Schlegel, an active member of the Colorado culinary community and co-founder of Snooze AM Eatery, a popular Western U.S. collection of breakfast and lunch restaurants; Biju Thomas, Denver based Entrepreneur, Chef, Author, and owner of Biju's Little Curry Shop, a "Best of Denver" winner; Dana Faulk Query, partner and marketing director at Big Red F Restaurant Group, which owns and operates 12 restaurants throughout Colorado; Jeff Suskin, publisher of DiningOut Magazine and producer of some of the country's best culinary events; Justin Cucci, curator of multiple nationally recognized restaurants ranging from fast casual vegan to elevated global cuisine.; Carrie Baird, the executive chef at local favorite, Bar Dough; James Beard Award winning chef Jennifer Jasinski, who owns of a handful of beloved Denver restaurants; and Tommy Lee, chef and owner of award-winning local spots Hop Alley and Uncle.

Together, these culinary curators have assembled an epic food lineup to compliment Grandoozy's equally impressive music lineup. Devour Denver will offer everything from local healthy favorites, to gourmet wild game, the city's trendiest doughnuts to hand crafted artisan fruit pops. Be on the look-out for Biju's Little Curry Shop, the award-winning Denver-based restaurant combining true southern style with a little bit of spice to introduce a new style of Indian food. Comal, Denver's food incubator known for its incredible work in the local community and its rotating Mexican and South American menus, also joins the lineup. Creative twists on American breakfast classics will be provided by Snooze, an AM Eatery, and Sugarfire Smoke House will be tantalizing taste buds with their inventive take on barbecue. Satisfying the sweet tooths of Grandoozy are Carbon + Habit Doughnut Dispensary bringing their unique lineup of doughnut flavors, and Sweet Cow Ice Cream serving up their hand-crafted batches of freshly made ice cream.

Adding to the culinary experience, some of Denver's most beloved food trucks will set up shop within the festival, including neighborhood favorite Super Heady Tacos, New York style pizza from Rocky Mountain Slices, and fruit bowls from Sunshine Bowls that are as delicious as they are beautiful. Original grass-fed burgers from OG Burgers will be satisfying festivalgoers while artisan craft mac n' cheese from Mac N' Noodles will provide an innovative take on the traditional comfort food.

VIP ticketholders will be treated to an additional array of gourmet fare from some of Denver's top rated restaurants. Included in the VIP offering are Maine Shack, bringing a taste of New England to Grandoozy with their traditional east coast seafood bites and gourmet burgers from Highland Tap Burgers. Bar Dough will be serving up an elevated take on traditional Italian cuisine, and Senor Bear is bringing a taste of Latin America with their one-of-a-kind authentic Latin cuisine. Flight School
5 Craft Spirit Flights and 4 Signature Cocktails

Flight School offers festivalgoers a unique opportunity to be schooled by some of the best craft distillers from Colorado and beyond. Leading the flight is Denver's own Chad Michael George, named one of Food & Wine's Best Mixologists in 2016 and a partner at Denver hot spots The Way Back and American Grind. At

Grandoozy's Flight School, George will be serving up flights ranging from Smoky Spirits, Rhums of the World, Agave Tour, and a Colorado Whiskey Flight. Each flight will consist of a series of different spirit tastings. In addition, Flight School will offer 4 signature cocktails available a la carte. 

Arts + Crafts
18 Craft Breweries

Leading the beer component of the festival is Steve Kurowski, formerly of Wynkoop Brewing Company and Breckenridge Brewery and seasoned marketer of Colorado's craft beer movement. Kurowski has taken time out of his daily gig to assemble a stellar lineup of suds from 18 different craft breweries to be featured in Arts + Crafts. In this experience, beer fanatics will find some of the country's best found right here in Denver, including but not limited to 4 Noses Brewing Company, Breckenridge Brewery, Denver Beer Company, Left Hand Brewing Company, and more.
