Great Expressions Dental Centers Names Dan Hirschfeld CEO

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Great Expressions Dental Centers ("GEDC"), one of the largest dental support organizations in the U.S., announced that Dan Hirschfeld has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer.

Founded in 1982 and operating as a single brand, GEDC provides comprehensive, affordable dental services through its network of over 300 affiliated practices staffed by more than 900 dentists and hygienists who deliver their care through more than one million visits per year.

Mr. Hirschfeld has over 30 years of experience in healthcare services, including as president and CEO of three different companies. Most recently, Mr. Hirschfeld served as President of Genesis Rehabilitation Services and International Operations and EVP/COO for Genesis Healthcare, Inc., a $6 billion publicly-traded healthcare services company focused on rehabilitation, long-term care and assisted living. During his tenure, Genesis Rehabilitation scaled from 400 locations to 1,700 locations.
