Great Minds Alone on Top in Louisiana

WASHINGTON, April 26, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The nonprofit Great Minds is the only organization to be awarded a Tier-1 rating for both its English Language Arts and Mathematics curricula by the Louisiana Department of Education, a nationally recognized leader in the area of curriculum review.

This month, the state named Wit & Wisdom, Great Minds' new K-8 English Language Arts (ELA) curriculum a Tier-1 resource, the only ELA curriculum recommended for statewide adoption across grades 3-8. Louisiana previously gave Eureka Math, also created by Great Minds, a Tier-1 designation across grades K-11. Great Minds is the only organization to be recommended in both core subject areas.
