Greater Hazleton Health Alliance Welcomes Radiologist
HAZLETON, Pa., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The Greater Hazleton Health Alliance (GHHA) and Foundation Radiology Group, GHHA's exclusive partner for diagnostic imaging services, are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Warren Mark Cohen to GHHA's growing medical staff.
As a triple-boarded, fellowship-trained radiologist, Dr. Cohen brings over 25 years of clinical expertise to his new position. Most recently, he served as the Medical Director and Chief of Radiology for the Nanticoke Hospital Health Care System in Seaford, Delaware.
Dr. Cohen is a graduate of Ursinus College, in Collegeville, PA, and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. A highly trained and accomplished physician, Dr. Cohen completed his first Fellowship, in Interventional Radiology, at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his Neuroradiology/Neurointerventional Fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital, Drexel College of Medicine, followed by a Visiting MRI Fellowship at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
His radiology residency was completed at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Cohen is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners.
Throughout his career, Dr. Cohen has spent time as a private practice physician, as the attending radiologist and as the emergency attending physician for several large hospitals. He also brings over 21 years of mammography, MQSA and breast interventional techniques to his position.
Dr. Cohen has served as an associate professor for both Allegheny University/Medical College of Pennsylvania and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UNMNJ), as a clinical professor for UNMNJ and also as a Family Practice Preceptor for Hershey Medical School, Hahnemann Medical School and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
