Greater Zurich Area Director Jillian Ochs Wins 40 Under 40 Award in Economic Development

An independent six-member selection committee evaluated and chose the winners based on their exceptional contributions to the economic development industry. The award's program was managed by Development Counsellors International (DCI), a New York-based firm that specializes in economic development marketing.

Jillian Ochs joined the Greater Zurich Area in 2009 in the role of a Project Manager. Intercultural exposure helped her to develop an effective method for global communications throughout multi-national and cross functional teams. In 2014, Jillian was promoted Director for all West Coast investment projects with private and public companies across multiple industries, strategic partner and channel development, developing concept & executing events on trending themes relevant to international business.

DCI's 40 Under 40 award was designed to discover the economic development profession's rising stars. "The people chosen by the selection committee represent a bright future for the economic development world," said Andy Levine, president of DCI. "They are a new breed of results-driven place makers.
