Green Chemistry Clearinghouse Announces 2015 Conference Line Up

Aug 31, 2015, 00:01 ET from Green Chemistry Clearinghouse

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 31, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- This year's Green Chemistry Conference is bringing together the experts that businesses need and want to hear from. Panels will focus on the regulatory developments in California, nationally and internationally.

The EU, Canada and US: Fitting the Regulatory Pieces Together panel will be moderated by Adam Abelkop, author of "Regulation of Chemical Risks: Lessons for Reform of the Toxic Substances Control Act from Canada and the European Union," and will include speakers from Europe and Canada.

The State of California Safer Consumer Products Program panel will include Karl Palmer, Chief of DTSC's Safer Consumer Products Branch, and experts from organizations impacted by the Program.

The two panels on TSCA – TSCA: Compliance Update and TSCA: Sea Change on the Horizon – will inform the audience on key developments over the last year at TSCA and what the future will hold with the reform legislation.

The audience will learn how making the right decisions on alternative chemicals can save them money and time from the Alternative Assessment: A Safe Bet for Business panel.

The Green Chemistry Conference is held in conjunction with the Prop. 65 Conference that is held on the previous day.

Green Chemistry Clearinghouse was started in 2013 by its publisher, Lana Beckett, to track key regulatory documents, deadlines and litigation. The Clearinghouse keeps subscribers up-to-date on California's new Safer Consumer Products regulations—including a user friendly, searchable Chemical Database. It covers multiple states' Green Chemistry programs, federal regulatory actions, EU REACH and other international regulatory agencies.
