Greenberg Traurig Adds Preeminent Investment Management Lawyer Sherry J. Sandler

Former NYSE senior counsel brings nearly 25 years of transactional, regulatory, and in-house leadership experience.

NEW YORK, Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has added Sherry J. Sandler as a shareholder and Long Island Corporate Practice and firmwide Investment Management Group co-chair, further strengthening the firm's capabilities at the intersection of investment management, securities regulation, and corporate transactions.

Ms. Sandler joins from Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP, where she was co-chair of the Corporate/Business Group and founded and led that firm's Investment Management and Funds practice. Ms. Sandler began her career in the Global Corporate Group at Milbank LLP, advising on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. She then spent more than a decade in senior in-house legal and compliance roles at Rodman & Renshaw investment bank, the Knight Capital Americas/KCG Holdings broker-dealer/global financial services firm, and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Ms. Sandler also launched her own trading and capital markets advisory firm serving financial institutions, investment firms, and Fortune 500 companies.

With nearly 25 years of experience, Ms. Sandler's practice includes fund formation, securities regulation, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, and corporate governance matters. She also serves as primary outside counsel to clients, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to address complex business, transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters.

Ms. Sandler will receive the Long Island Business News Leadership in Law Award on Nov. 10.
