Greenberg Traurig Expands West Palm Beach Team, Adds Labor & Employment Shareholder Allison Oasis Kahn

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenberg Traurig, P.A. has added Shareholder Allison Oasis Kahn to its West Palm Beach office as chair of the firm's West Palm Beach Labor & Employment Practice, enhancing its ability to serve employers amid Palm Beach County's continued growth and influx of new businesses.

Kahn joins Greenberg Traurig from Carlton Fields, where she spent more than two decades representing employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters statewide. Board certified in labor and employment law by The Florida Bar, she advises and defends employers in litigation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and other workplace-related claims.

Her clients include some of Florida's largest health care and education employers, as well as organizations across the hospitality, banking, and telecommunications sectors.

Kahn's practice spans employment counseling, workplace investigations, employee classification and wage-and-hour compliance, restrictive covenant enforcement, labor arbitration, equal employment opportunity claims, and complex employment litigation, including class and collective actions. During her 25-year career, she has completed more than 300 employee classification audits under federal overtime laws, and she regularly appears before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, county fair employment practice agencies, and the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.

Her experience includes securing summary judgment on behalf of medical providers in a Fair Labor Standards Act collective action brought by student interns, prevailing in labor arbitration for a hospital in a dispute involving employee termination under a collective bargaining agreement, and obtaining a complete defense verdict following a six-day jury trial involving claims of Family and Medical Leave Act interference and retaliation, as well as disability discrimination and retaliation.

Kahn is an active community leader, serving as president of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys and co-chair of the 15th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida's Pro Bono Awards and Ice Cream Social Committee. She also is program director for the Palm Beach County chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and a founding member of the Jewish Lawyers Association of Palm Beach County. In 2023, she was appointed to the Ad Hoc Committee on Attorney Admissions, Peer Review, and Attorney Grievance for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida by Chief Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga.

Kahn earned her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad College of Law, graduating magna cum laude, and her B.A. in English from Georgia Southern University, Honors English Program.
