Greenberg Traurig Names Victoria Davis Lockard Vice Chair Of National Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice Group

ATLANTA, July 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Victoria Davis Lockard, a shareholder in the Atlanta office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been named vice chair of the firm's national Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice Group. In this role, she will actively help guide and oversee the 100-plus member practice group representing clients in complex product liability litigation matters across the country.

Lockard focuses her practice in the areas of products liability, mass torts, consumer class actions and other complex litigation. She handles high-stakes, single-plaintiff cases and complex litigation, including MDLs, coordinated state actions and class actions. She has handled matters involving a wide variety of products and exposures, including branded and generic pharmaceuticals, surgical mesh and patches, insulin pumps, neurostimulation devices, defibrillators, vascular and endovascular grafts and stents, orthopedic implants, other surgical tools and implants, human tissue allografts, surgical detergent, dialysis products and supplies, household appliances and other consumer goods, construction and industrial equipment, electronics, and children's and recreational products. In addition to litigation and trial work, Victoria also advises manufacturers and distributors in connection with compliance matters, risk assessment, product recalls and reporting activities governed by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, FDA, FTC and other federal and state regulatory bodies.
