
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. advised Opifex-Synergy, one of the largest general equipment rental providers in the United States, on its acquisition of ECCO Equipment Company, LLC from an affiliate of Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.
The acquisition marks Opifex-Synergy's entry into the Western United States, adding operations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Idaho, according to the company's press release. With the acquisition, Opifex-Synergy now operates in nine of the 11 largest U.S. equipment rental markets and nearly doubles its total addressable market.
