Greenberg Traurig's Joel A. Katz Named Top Entertainment Lawyer in the 2014 Billboard 'Power 100' for Third Consecutive Year

ATLANTA, Feb. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Joel A. Katz, chair of the Global Media & Entertainment Practice at the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, is listed as the top-ranked entertainment attorney in Billboard magazine's 'Power 100' list of most powerful executives in the music Business. Katz, who has been top-listed for three consecutive years, is also included on the list's 'Top 40' at No. 39.

According to the publication, the 'Power 100' list highlights the foremost power players in the music industry and ranks top executives from major labels, digital service providers, global promoters and key artists. The publication began including attorneys on its list in 2011.

Katz is recognized for being a leading lawyer for artist talent and top executives, as well as industry groups like the Recording Academy.
