COSTA MESA, Calif., July 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Profit Recovery Partners, LLC (PRP) today announced that Greg Danielson has rejoined the company as Director, Information Technology and Financial Services Practice Groups. Danielson, who holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Iowa State University and an executive MBA from the University of Southern California, will lead a multi-disciplinary team that assists PRP's clients in evaluating savings opportunities, negotiating contracts and implementing cost savings.
"These two practice areas have great growth potential, as shown by the 100 percent year-over-year growth they have already achieved for the past several years," said Danielson. "I look forward to working with PRP's talented team to further refine and enhance our strategy through new service offerings, strategic marketing and vendor relationship management."
Danielson's prior tenure with PRP began in 2007 when he was hired as an entry-level analyst. Following several promotions, he was ultimately named Director of Solutions Management. Through his involvement in more than 100 client engagements, he gained extensive experience helping clients better understand their spend and actively manage savings opportunities, as well as assisting with change management issues related to these activities.
Danielson's new role builds on his prior successes at PRP while also leveraging the expertise he gained working for Ingram Micro, the world's second largest technology distributor. "Greg will be a major contributor to our firm's growth in the years ahead," said Don Steiner, President. "His proven leadership and vast knowledge of the technology industry will be invaluable as we set the vision and strategy for these groups to ensure continued growth and innovation."
