Greg Weilersbacher Joins Formex, LLC As Director of Quality Assurance and Quality Control

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Formex, LLC ("Formex"), a leader in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, announced that Mr. Greg Weilersbacher joined Formex as Director of Quality Assurance and Quality Control on August 25, 2014.

Greg Weilersbacher has over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with focused expertise in Quality Assurance, Facility Validation, GMP manufacturing, and laboratory operations.  

Mr. Weilersbacher brings to Formex a diverse wealth of experience. From 2010 to 2014 Mr. Weilersbacher was a pharmaceutical industry consultant serving start-ups through major pharma.  He has held the role of Associate Director of QA/QC at La Jolla Biologics (2011 to 2014), Manager and Director of Quality Assurance positions at Pharmatek laboratories (2002 to 2010), Manager of Quality at Corvas International (2001 to 2002), QA Associate at Magellan Laboratories (1999 to 2001), and Analytical Chemist at Amylin Pharmaceuticals (1994 to 1998).
