Greyhound And Peter Pan Bus Lines Relocate All Washington, D.C., Service To Union Station

DALLAS, Sept. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Greyhound and Peter Pan Bus Lines today announced that on Wednesday, Sept. 26, all operations will relocate to the historic Union Station. All travel booked for Sept. 26 and after will depart from the new location. The move will provide customers with greater connectivity to other modes of transportation and improved access to Express, the companies' premium non-stop service introduced to Washington, D.C., nearly two years ago.

In celebration of the relocation, Greyhound, Peter Pan and the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation invite the public to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony the day before services launch on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. alongside special guests Deputy Secretary Porcari, Congresswoman Norton and Congressman Mica.

Two premium Express buses will be available immediately following the ribbon cutting ceremony, allowing passengers to see the modern amenities provided on every Express trip - including free Wi-Fi, power outlets, leather seats, reserved seating and extra legroom.  "We are pleased with the move to Union Station due to its convenient location that is easily accessible to our passengers who travel throughout the Northeast.
