Revel Systems' POS solution connects all five Griffin Technology retail locations through its cloud-based system so that data can be easily pulled in real-time, a major benefit over other server-based solutions.

For this rollout, Griffin and Revel Systems worked together for the customized solution to integrate into Griffin's existing backend ERP systems, allowing the POS software to communicate seamlessly with Griffin's current systems for reporting and inventory control. The updated version of Revel's Retail iPad POS solution that Griffin has selected was announced last month and includes enhanced customization features developed specifically with retail customers in mind as well as the very first variable pricing and variable weight pricing feature on any iPad POS solution. At half the price of legacy systems, Revel Systems POS solution also now features price override for retailers and the fastest deployment time on the market. Griffin Technology's IT team noted that once the specifics of the solution were determined, the setup took a matter of hours rather than days or months as is common with other solutions.
