Grimes Company Doubles Facilities Space, Bringing More Jobs and New Products to Iowa

GRIMES, Iowa, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Performance Display and Millwork announced the expansion of their facility in Grimes, Iowa today. The expansion plan will add nearly 40,000 square feet to their current 40,000 square foot facilities through the acquisition of an adjacent building.  The company began planning the expansion strategy due to an increase in demand spurred by the launch of their new Countertop Division and Retail Merchandising Division. The extra space and resources will allow Performance Display to add more products, improve warehouse practices and ultimately add up to a dozen new jobs.

Performance Display was just recently awarded the sole commercial distribution for Klondike's collection of exotic granite slabs and natural blend of granite and quartz countertops allowing the company to provide a large range of high-quality options at a competitive price. Performance Display & Millwork is the exclusive commercial supplier of Klondike and the products are cut nearby in Ottumwa, Iowa.

The Retail Merchandising Division has grown rapidly since it's start last fall. This division manufactures, assembles, and configures displays for custom deployment into retail, such as convenience stores, specialty shops, financial institutions and big box chains.
