Many of the individuals affected often find themselves struggling with the understanding of how their weight impacts their health. In an effort to combat obesity and provide individuals with comprehensive, unbiased and evidence-based educational information on weight and its impact on health, the OAC is proud to host the Inaugural Your Weight Matters National Convention. Set to take place at the exquisite Hilton Anatole Dallas, the Convention promises to offer attendees a never-before-seen approach to weight and health education and advocacy. The Convention will feature educational sessions led by the country's leading experts on weight and health on topics such as medically managed weight-loss, metabolic and bariatric surgery, weight bias, body image issues, childhood obesity, weight plateaus, nutrition, exercise and much more.
