Grow Announces Product Innovations at Company's 2nd Annual Data Driven Summit
SILICON SLOPES, Utah, Oct. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Grow, the #1 BI software for small and medium businesses, today announced two major product innovations to help growing companies win with data during the company's second Annual Data Driven Summit at Snowbird, Utah.

Smart Builder
At today's Summit keynote session, Nelson announced the addition of a Smart Builder to the Grow application. The Smart Builder is a new way to build metrics, KPIs and reports for a team. It reduces the time and work required to build metrics inside Grow by nearly 80% by automating assumptions based on the data without complex formulas or SQL.
Datasets
The second announcement Nelson made was around the new ability to create datasets inside the Grow application. Datasets now simplifies one of the biggest barriers to business intelligence by eliminating data prep work for business users, allowing technical users to clean and prepare data one time and permission it to other employees.
"A Harvard Business Review article stated that 80% of an analysts' time is spent simply discovering and prepping data," said Nelson. "Datasets not only significantly reduces the amount of time analysts now have to spend prepping data, but also gives companies the ability to designate a single source of truth for any set of metrics, providing accuracy and consistency, significantly reducing the risk of departments measuring important KPIs differently."
As part of the release, Grow has introduced 25 template datasets that can be immediately pulled into a customer's account—including templates from Salesforce, Shopify, Zuora, Facebook Ads and many more.
Integrations
Nelson also announced that the company has made over 300 updates to data connectors to BI reporting platforms in the last year, including a coordinated effort with Hubspot to improve its BI reporting API for customers.
Data Driven Summit
The 2018 Data Driven Summit features motivational speaker, former college football player at the University of Notre Dame, and the inspiration for the 1993 film Rudy, Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger as a Tuesday keynote.
