GSVlabs launches in Boston funding 5 of Boston's top startups
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- GSVlabs, a global innovation hub based in the heart of Silicon Valley, successfully launched its Boston platform with an event convening the city's top entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate executives. In partnership with Google Developers Launchpad, GSVlabs announced the winners of the GSVlabs Boston Startup Challenge, in front of an audience of 150+, at the Google campus in Cambridge. Ten startups focused on Fin Tech, EdTech, Cybersecurity, Digital Health and IoT (selected from over 200 companies) pitched for $225k in non-dilutive funding, a home at GSVlabs Boston Headquarters and customized acceleration support.
After extensive deliberation by an esteemed panel of judges, one winner from each vertical was selected (receiving $45,000ea in non-dilutive funding). The winning startups included: AdmitHub (EdTech); Vence (IoT); Energetic Insurance (FinTech); Pixm (Cybersecurity); and Medumo (Digital Health).

GSVlabs Boston will house 50+ emerging technology startups and is currently accepting applications for startups across the IoT, FinTech, EdTech, Digital Health and Cybersecurity markets.
