GT Software Announces Addition of Renowned Subject Matter Expert to Strengthen CICS Development Expertise
ATLANTA, June 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GT Software, the leader in revolutionizing data, processes, and transactions to optimize business information across all platforms, today announced the addition of noted CICS thought leader, Glenn Schneck, to the organization.
Schneck will serve as senior solutions architect for GT Software, where he will specialize in growing and strengthening GT Software's CICS development solutions to keep in line with IBM's z Systems Software roadmap. Along with the organization's product development team, he will be responsible for evangelizing GT Software's solutions to help clients continue to leverage the mainframe as part of modern business initiatives in the area of mobile, cloud, analytics, cognitive, and more.
Schneck has been involved with CICS as a systems programmer for over 30 years, working across several industries for companies as diverse as Equitable Life & Casualty Insurance Company, Guardian Life, The Walt Disney Company, and SunTrust Bank. In addition, he has had extensive involvement with the CICS Project at the independent technology association for IBM users, SHARE, since 1987, where he has served as project manager for the past five years. His expertise is key in shaping the group's CICS strategy and education programs.
