GT Software to Showcase Solutions and Thought Leadership for Mainframe Modernization at SHARE Atlanta

GT Software invites SHARE Atlanta attendees to the following sessions on August 2nd:

• GT Software's Director of z Systems Software: IMS & CICS, Dusty Rivers, will present, "IMS in the Connected World:  Why You Should Pay Attention!" demonstrating how IMS remains just as relevant in today's mobile and data-driven world.  Rivers' presentation starts at 10:00 a.m. in Room A708 of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.  Rivers is also a seven-time "IBM Information Champion" for IMS and CICS.
• All SHARE attendees are invited to a "Lunch & Learn" starting at 12:30 pm in Room L508 of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.  Don Spoerke, GT Software's director of product management, will lead a session, "Living the Mainframe Life in the Digital World: A Tale of Modernization," featuring examples of how clients are building Web applications on top of mainframe systems without additional coding to drive digital business initiatives.
• GT Software client, Harry MacCord, director of IT-ETS brands and application management for Educational Testing Service, will speak as part of the case study session, "Bringing the API Economy to CICS – How Are Real Life Customers Doing It?" at 3:15 p.m. in Room A602, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.  MacCord will showcase how ETS uses GT Software's Ivory® Service Architect™ to create real-time Web services to process online payments and test registrations faster and more efficiently.
