Guggenheim Securities Hires Peter M. Fry to Expand Its Healthcare Finance Capabilities

NEW YORK, Sept. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, today announced the recent hiring of Peter M. Fry as Managing Director in New York. Mr. Fry, who has spent two decades on the sell side and buy side focusing on Alternative Equities, will direct the firm's expansion into "At-The-Market" offerings.

Mr. Fry joins Guggenheim from Burrill & Company, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Alternative Equities. Before that, Mr. Fry spent eight years as the Senior Investment Officer of Kingsbridge Capital, where he played an integral role in numerous healthcare investments while executing nearly $2 billion in more than 35 Committed Equity Financing Facilities (CEFFs). Mr. Fry has been investing in and providing advisory services to emerging growth companies for over 20 years.
