Guvera Limited Appoints Russell Beer as Head of Global Finance

NEW YORK, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Guvera Limited, a search website for "free but paid for" music and digital content provided by brands, announced the appointment of Russell Beer as its Head of Global Finance working out of the New York office.  Russell brings over 20 years of experience in banking and finance, which includes work raising private equity and investment banking advisory.  His investment banking experience entails over $14 billion dollars of transactions in over a dozen countries.  In addition to M&A and private equity deals, Russell has successfully concluded recent transactions in the public debt and equity markets in the US.

Russell will work to optimize the firm's value by developing a sound strategy to meet Guvera's financial needs and exponential growth.  Russell is working with strategic and institutional investors and advisers to find new ways to grow and fund the firm's business.

Previously, Russell was a Director of Investment Banking at Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets where he originated and executed transactions raising private equity as well as in the public equity and debt capital markets.  He also worked for many years as a Principal at Babcock & Brown in the New York, San Francisco and Tokyo offices.  At Babcock & Brown Russell was responsible for domestic and cross-border financings in a variety of industries including originating and closing transactions in the media and telecom sectors.
