ATLANTA, May 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Atlanta-based GXG, the executive leadership firm that solves knowledge gaps through rapid cycle learning to help senior executives successfully tackle challenges of targeted growth and transformation, announces today the appointment of Ted Sullivan as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). As CRO, Sullivan will develop, execute and lead sales and revenue growth strategies and initiatives to achieve GXG's growth targets.
"We are extremely excited to have Ted join our firm. With more than 20 years of experience managing growth opportunities, Ted will be invaluable in helping establish GXG as the secret weapon for senior executives around the world," Bruce Barlag, GXG Chairman said.
"Ted has a proven track record of driving sustained growth and is an accomplished sales leader across multiple industries with proven corporate and entrepreneurial experience," said GXG CEO Craig Lemasters. "His leadership style and personality are a perfect fit for the GXG culture and our fast-paced, rapidly growing organization."
Most recently Ted was SVP of sales and business development for the consumer business unit at Equifax where he had responsibility for selling B2B2C identity protection solutions and breach remediation services targeting prospects across a dozen industry verticals. He established formal engagement and processes to leverage the enterprise sales forces to sell consumer solutions to all client bases. While in his role he finalized the largest contract for the business unit with a multi-national financial services provider, achieved 3-year growth goal closing a large provider of identity solutions and delivered the largest single year of breach services revenue since 2008.
Prior to joining Equifax Ted was VP Connected Living at Assurant Solutions where he led business development for the U.S. wireless business. Earlier he was responsible for leading global relationships with several strategic accounts while coaching representatives pursuing large opportunities around the world. His initial role involved developing and globally deploying best practices to include strategic account management, value proposition development and sales strategy execution.
Before joining Assurant Solutions Ted was Executive Vice President and part owner of a consumer products company he helped start in 1997 where he was responsible for sales, marketing, managed care, and supply chain.
"I am impressed with both the executives here, as well as their client base," said Sullivan. "GXG is transforming the way executives learn, giving them their own personal 'think tanks' to help them in real time. I am excited to join this passionate company and continue to build and lead an organization with a tremendous opportunity for growth."
