OAKLAND, Calif., Sept 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Haagen-Dazs brand is keeping the feeling of summer alive nationwide with the introduction of its new line of decadent Haagen-Dazs Gelato bars. Whether you are catching the sunset or jumping in the car for one last road trip, flavors Vanilla Caramel Pizzelle, Tiramisu Dark Chocolate, and Strawberry Dark Chocolate will become a must-have treat for ice cream and gelato lovers who want to enjoy a taste of Italy right here in the United States.

The expansion into gelato snack bars comes on the heels of the wildly popular release of the brand's gelato line in March 2013 and, most recently, the introduction of four new gelato flavors – Tiramisu, Pomegranate Swirl, Caramelized Banana Chip and Pistachio – in February 2014.

• Tiramisu Dark Chocolate – Bold and complex Tiramisu gelato dipped in rich dark chocolate and dazzled.
• Strawberry Dark Chocolate – Sweet and creamy Strawberry gelato dipped in rich dark chocolate and dazzled. 

Each Haagen-Dazs Gelato Bar flavor is available in packages of three for a suggested retail price of $4.99 and will be sold nationwide beginning this month.
