Habitat for Humanity International launches Carter Circle

ATLANTA, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Habitat for Humanity International is honored to launch the Carter Circle, a distinguished community of corporate partners and individual donors whose leadership-level support advances Habitat's mission of building homes, communities and hope.

The Carter Circle recognizes the organization's inaugural corporate and individual giving members for their commitment to helping Habitat open doors of opportunity through access to safe, affordable housing.

"The Carter Circle reflects the extraordinary impact that is possible when people and organizations come together in support of a shared vision," said Jonathan Reckford, CEO of Habitat for Humanity International. "We are deeply grateful to the inaugural members who have made a remarkable commitment to Habitat's mission. Their leadership, generosity and partnership extend far beyond homes, creating opportunities for families to thrive and strengthening communities for years to come."

Named in honor of former President Jimmy Carter and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, the Carter Circle celebrates their extraordinary legacy as champions of affordable, decent housing for all. Its inaugural partners and donors carry that legacy forward through strategic investments that make Habitat's work possible. Together, their support helps expand access to affordable housing and creates lasting pathways to stability and opportunity for families and individuals around the world.

As Habitat continues to help build brighter futures through affordable housing, the organization extends its heartfelt appreciation to every member of the Carter Circle for their unwavering support of creating a world where everyone has a safe, affordable place to call home.

Since our founding in 1976 as a Christian organization, together we have helped more than 65 million people globally build their futures on their own terms through access to decent housing. We've done that by working alongside people of all walks of life to build, repair and finance their homes, by innovating new ways of building and financing, and by advocating for policies that make constructing and accessing housing easier for everyone.
