Hackensack Meridian Health to Participate in Prestigious World Economic Forum in Davos

On January 19, Dr. Goy will be leading a discussion on value-based care particularly leveraging digital technology to promote behavioral changes towards patients' engagement in health, wellness and shared decision making. He also contributed to a white paper that is being published by the previous Industry Agenda Council on the Future of the Health Care Sector summarizing the causes and origins of the underperformance of health systems particularly a clear misalignment across stakeholders.

Dr. Goy's presentation will stress the importance technology will play in the future of health care shifting toward value-based care. Value-based care is dependent upon promoting behavioral changes, healthy habits, patient monitoring, patient accountability, preventive care and improved care delivery.
