HackensackUHN Signs Affiliation Agreement with Palisades Medical Center

HACKENSACK, N.J., June 28, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Hackensack University Health Network is pleased to announce that it has signed an affiliation agreement with Palisades Medical Center to collaborate and expand clinical programs and services, further improving the high-quality medical care Palisades provides patients in Hudson and southern Bergen County. The new affiliation agreement will supersede the prior clinical affiliation agreement made between the two medical centers earlier this year.

This partnership between Hackensack University Health Network and Palisades, a 202-bed facility in North Bergen, N.J., will benefit patients by strengthening and supporting Palisades' existing programs and bringing additional state-of-the-art care and specialized diagnostic and medical treatments to the surrounding resident and business communities of northern Hudson County and lower Bergen County. The collaboration agreement also will foster a closer working relationship between the medical staff and physicians at both hospitals, both complementing and supplementing the medical and surgical services already available at Palisades.
