Hadapt Expands Executive Team with VP of Engineering Christopher Rocca

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., March 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Hadapt, the only data analytics platform natively integrating SQL with Apache Hadoop, has added Christopher Rocca to the executive management team as VP of Engineering. In this position, Rocca will be responsible for leading the development of Hadapt's Adaptive Analytical Platform.

Previously, Rocca was Co-Founder and VP of Engineering at Viridity Software, where he led the development of EnergyCenter, the company's innovative Data Center Management solution. After being acquired by Schneider Electric in 2011, Christopher led the development organization of Schneider's Data Center Management Suite. Prior to Viridity, Rocca was VP of Engineering and Director of Development at Revivio, delivering a Continuous Data Protection storage appliance, which was acquired by Symantec. Earlier in his career, he was a Principal Engineer and Senior Engineering Manager at Motorola via the C-Port acquisition. Christopher began his career as a Software Engineer at Digital Equipment.
