Hale and Hearty Soups Celebrates First Boston Location with "Free Soup Day" on 1/21
NEW YORK, Jan. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Hale and Hearty Soups, the iconic NYC based lunch institution, will open its doors on 1/21 to ladle up innovative homemade soups on the house at its new 185 Franklin Street location.
Signature specialties like "Broken Lasagna," "Chicken Corn Chowder," and "Portuguese Kale with Sausage," are among the 150+ specials in rotation in the daily menu at Hale and Hearty. Lighter soups, like "Lemon Chicken with Spinach and Orzo" and "Tomato Basil with Rice" are included as well, along with many vegetarian and gluten free options.
Hale and Hearty Soups offers its guests 15-20 different soups every day. Some of the soups have obsessive fan followings, and guests can opt into a "Got a Favorite?" e-mail on the company's website so favorite soups are never missed.
Other highlights of the menu are custom chopped-to-order salads served with homemade dressings, and a range of freshly made, chef-created sandwiches on locally baked bread.
Andy Taylor, the company's CEO, is looking forward to bringing the Hale and Hearty experience to this exciting new market. "We're thrilled to be opening in Boston. We love the city and its culinary history, and we feel it's going to be a great fit for us. We're really looking forward to learning from our new neighbors, and being part of such a great place."
