HALL Structured Finance Named #1 Non-Bank Hotel Construction Lender In The United States

DALLAS, March 19, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Dallas-based HALL Structured Finance (HSF) announced today that the company was listed as the top non-bank hotel construction lender in the U.S. in 2018, according to research firm Real Capital Analytics. The annual report results also listed HSF as the ninth largest hotel construction lender overall, including both bank and non-bank lending sources in the U.S.

"In today's lending climate, it is very difficult for borrowers to obtain construction financing for hotels through traditional banks. In light of this, HSF has stepped in to fill this void and make it possible for high quality developments across the U.S. to move forward," said Mike Jaynes, President of HSF. The economic impact that HSF has had across the U.S. has also had a significant impact on a temporary basis during construction, and on a permanent basis through annual operations. Research conducted by economic consulting firm Impact DataSource revealed that the impact during construction of HSF's last 31 loans has generated $1.3 billion in economic output. Additionally, the combined stabilized operations from all projects is estimated to support $459.7 million in economic output, 3,600 jobs, and $129.2 million in household earnings.
