Tressa joins Hallmark Business Connections from Hallmark, where she served as customer strategy director
MINNEAPOLIS, June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Hallmark Business Connections, the business-to-business subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, Inc., is proud to announce Tressa Angell as its new president, effective June 2. Angell transitions to her new role at Hallmark Business Connections following an 18-year career at Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, Missouri. She succeeds former president and CEO Keith Fenhaus.
Angell brings an intuitive mindset and collaborative approach to Hallmark Business Connections. In her new position, Angell will bolster an already high-performing team and provide strategic guidance to clients and partners. Building upon a strong foundation, Angell will focus on increasing financial reliability and carry the standard of the Hallmark brand as more than just a logo. Angell will work to increase Hallmark Business Connections positioning in the B2B space as a creative, relevant and genuine business that is both insightful and innovative.
Upon graduating from Kansas State University in 1997, Angell began her career at Hallmark Cards as an assistant product manager and quickly rose through the ranks to her most recent position; customer strategy director – Wal-Mart. At Hallmark, she developed a passion for product and business development, category strategy and strategic selling. This depth of experience, coupled with her understanding of the iconic Hallmark brand promise, makes Angell the perfect fit for her new role.
