Halogen Software Appoints New Executive Team Members
Chief Marketing Officer Paul Fitzpatrick and Vice President, Product Management and Strategy David Mennie join talent management leader's executive roster
OTTAWA, Sept. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Halogen Software Inc. (TSX: HGN), a leading provider of cloud-based talent management solutions, today announced the appointment of two new executive team members — Paul Fitzpatrick and David Mennie — to the company's leadership roster.
Mr. Fitzpatrick joins Halogen as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), following former CMO Donna Ronayne's retirement in July. He will lead the expansion of Halogen's strong market positioning and brand awareness and drive demand generation for its award-winning solutions.
Mr. Fitzpatrick joins Halogen from ResponseTek, a leading provider of SaaS solutions for customer experience management. At ResponseTek, he led the global sales and alliances team. Prior to that role, he had a long tenure with IBM and Cognos, most recently as the global marketing leader for IBM's Enterprise Content Management division. In this role, he unified several brands, led a large marketing team and drove strategic marketing programs and breakout moves for this successful $1B business unit. During his career at IBM and Cognos, Mr. Fitzpatrick also held key leadership roles in industry marketing, product marketing, business development and sales.
Mr. Mennie joins Halogen as Vice President of Product Management and Strategy, reporting to Karen Williams, Halogen's Chief Product Officer. In this role, Mr. Mennie will lead the company in defining and amplifying its future solution vision, while building on Halogen's product strengths and driving technical innovation.
Mr. Mennie joins the company from Acquia, one of North America's fastest growing PaaS and SaaS software companies, where he ran global product marketing. Prior to Acquia, he led the product go-to-market strategy for a portfolio of over 30 products and solutions for the $750M Enterprise Content Division of EMC Corporation, leveraging his earlier experience in engineering leadership roles.
