Harlem Globetrotters Unveil New Logo For First Time In 25 Years

ATLANTA, Nov. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- In time for its 91^st season entertaining fans all over the world, the Harlem Globetrotters today unveiled the team's first logo refresh in over 25 years.

The new design – an evolution on the classic Globetrotters logo – is meant to stay true to the foundation on which the brand is built, while forging a new identity for the future. The contemporized design pays homage to the showmanship that has always been a hallmark of the Globetrotters, while positioning the team as one of the leading event and entertainment properties in the world.

In addition to the new logo, the Globetrotters also debuted a redesigned website, designed to give fans the ability to get closer to the team than ever before. With added video and digital components, Globetrotter faithfuls from all over the world now have a chance to get inside the locker room, interact with players, as well as stay up to date with news and information.

The new site will also feature easy-to-use ticket-buying options, and a full-scale Harlem Globetrotters shop, where fans can pick up gear for their next trip to a game.  The Globetrotters tip off their 2017 World Tour December 26^th and will play in over 250 North American markets as well as 30 countries worldwide.
