PHOENIX, July 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to raise money for the Down Syndrome Clinic at the Phoenix Children's Hospital, Diane Hastings hosts the second annual Down Right Beautiful Fashion Show which raised $20,000 this year, a smashing success.

The event was hosted at the Phoenix's Musical Instrument Museum (MIM). More than two hundred guests filtered into the candy land themed event. The venue included a silent auction, a wicked fun photo booth, and an appearance by Miss Arizona. Kohl's provided the clothes for the models and a silent auction followed. Indeed, the lead singer train even contributed an autographed guitar for the auction.

Diane Hastings, the master builder of the event, encourages everyone in the valley to attend the event and support children with downs syndrome:

"Buy a ticket and you get to watch the most beautiful people, inside and out, model super cute clothes! Plus, you can shop the amazing auction items, eat a lovely meal and view the musical instrument museum. If you cannot make it this year, please consider making a donation to the clinic. You will be a blessing to so many families in need!" said Diane Hastings, in an interview with Patricia Barney.

It was said that spirits were high at MIM. The models walked down the runway with beaming smiles on their faces, and everyone in attendance was in good cheer, bonding over the commitment to the cause. Indeed, supporting children with disabilities is worth all the effort in the world, and it cannot be doubted that children's heightened mood was priceless.

No doubt a third annual Down Right Beautiful Fashion Show will follow in the wake of the recent event. Diane Hastings has high hopes for the event, and offered the following concerning the future of her philanthropy:

"I would like every family who has a child with Down syndrome to automatically think of the clinic when looking for resources to support the needs of their child," said Diane Hastings

For several years, Hastings & Hastings has been an ardent supporter of the Special Olympics. They offer generous donations each year, and the recent addition of the Down Right Beautiful Fashion Show adds to an impressive track record of service, care for the individual, and philanthropy.
