Hawks View Cellars demonstrates the Pacific Northwest's bounty at its best
SHERWOOD, Ore., Sept. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Hawk View Cellars, a private Chehalem Mountains AVA winery known for award-winning wines from elite growing regions all along the west coast of the United States, is participating in Bon Appetit's Feast Portland (PDX), the Pacific Northwest culinary event of the season. Held in Portland, Oregon, starting Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, Feast Portland is a world-class event celebrating Oregon's bounty with chefs and artisans from around the world at the best time of the year, at harvest time, the ideal time to feast.

Hawks View Cellars is proud to be a sponsor of Feast Portland. From Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 through Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, Hawks View will be pouring its Oregon White Pinot Noir, the La Baleine, a true Northwest tri-state wine, also known as "The Whale"--along with other award-winning wines from Oregon, California and Washington.

Hawks View Cellars will be participating in the following events throughout the Feast Portland food and drink festival:
- Thursday, Sept. 19: The Sandwich Invitational at Directors Park. Fifteen of America's top chefs will harness their culinary skills and fit them between two slices of bread. Hawks View will be pouring Oregon Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, Washington Cabernet, and California Syrah.
- Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20-21: Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Here, Hawks View will be pouring Oregon Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, and California Syrah.
- Saturday, Sept. 21: High Comfort at the Nines. The most amazing chefs will elevate grandmother's food into "High Comfort" food. This will be paired with Hawks View's Oregon White Pinot Noir, "The Unicorn," and La Baleine ("The Whale").
- Sunday, Sept. 22: Dinner Series at Levant. Here, Hawks View will pair Middle-Eastern cuisine with its white wine Oregon selection of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and White Pinot Noir.
