Hayward Gordon US, Inc. Acquires Sharpe Mixers, Inc.
TORONTO, Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- We are excited to announce that Hayward Gordon US, Inc. ("Company") & Sharpe Mixers Inc., ("Sharpe Mixers") have joined forces. Jay Dinnison and the Sharpe management team are partnering with Hayward Gordon to better serve customers by further strengthening and expanding our mixer offerings and technical capabilities. As part of the transaction, Jay Dinnison of Sharpe Mixers will remain active in the business in a key product support position.
Based in Seattle, Washington, Sharpe Mixers has served customers for the past 60 years and provides advanced mixing solutions in the chemical, industrial and sanitary markets. Hayward Gordon intends to make significant investment in plant, equipment and people in Sharpe's Seattle plant to better serve customers in the global market. Hayward Gordon, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada designs, manufactures and distributes mixers, pumps, and engineered systems for challenging fluid handling applications in a range of industries including: food, water, mining, chemical, oil & gas, mineral processing, and wastewater treatment. A controlling interest in Hayward Gordon was previously acquired by Element Partners and it serves as a platform for acquisitions of pump and mixer manufacturers focused on abrasive, harsh duty, or other engineered fluid handling applications.
