NEW YORK, May 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, May 11, HBO Sports® will open an interactive experience in New York City in anticipation of the upcoming two-part documentary What's My Name | Muhammad Ali chronicling the challenges, confrontations, comebacks and triumphs of the legendary boxer through recordings of his own voice. The experience will honor the peak of Ali's career with a two-day pop-up event in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Southpaw, The Magnificent Seven, The Equalizer franchise) with LeBron James and Maverick Carter serving as executive producers, What's My Name | Muhammad Ali paints an intimate portrait of a man who was a beacon of hope for oppressed people around the world and, in his later years, was recognized as a global citizen and a symbol of humanity and understanding.
