Home Care Association of America chooses AidQuest Human+ approach that combines trained live agents with AI assistance to deliver more accurate, helpful and meaningful conversations with website visitors
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AidQuest® today announced that the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA) has selected AidQuest Human+ Live Chat to manage live conversations with visitors to the association's website.
At a time when many organizations are considering fully automated AI solutions, HCAOA chose a different approach: keeping humans at the center of the conversation while using AI to make them more knowledgeable, responsive and effective.
AidQuest's Human+ platform combines trained human chat agents with AI working behind the scenes as a real-time copilot. Human agents engage directly with visitors, while AI assists them when needed with access to information and guidance to help deliver faster, more accurate and consistent responses.
The model gives HCAOA the benefits of AI without removing the human judgment and understanding that can be especially important when conversations involve families looking for care, caregivers seeking employment, home care providers, association members and other industry stakeholders.
"We believe this is where the future of AI is heading," said Kamran Nasser, Founder and CEO of AidQuest. "AI doesn't always need to replace the human to transform an experience. In many important interactions, its greatest value is helping a knowledgeable person become dramatically more capable. That is the idea behind Human+."
The approach is an example of human-in-the-loop, where artificial intelligence supports the interaction while a person remains responsible for the actual conversation and response.
Beyond providing live assistance to website visitors, the partnership is also giving HCAOA a new source of insight into what people coming to its website are actually looking for.
Human+ analytics can reveal recurring questions, visitor interests, care inquiries, employment needs and other patterns that may otherwise be difficult to identify from traditional website analytics. Those insights can help HCAOA better understand its audience and identify opportunities to provide additional information, resources and support to its membership.
"We wanted a real person behind every conversation, not just a bot," said Kristen Wheeler, HCAOA's Senior Director of Membership Strategy and Industry Partnerships. "AidQuest gives us that, along with visibility into what our visitors are asking that we didn't have before."
HCAOA is the leading national trade association for the non-medical home care industry and represents approximately 5,000 member agencies across all 50 states and more than one million caregivers.
For AidQuest, the HCAOA partnership reflects a broader vision for how organizations can adopt artificial intelligence without sacrificing the human connection that remains essential in healthcare and senior care.
"The conversation around AI has focused heavily on how many human tasks can be eliminated," Nasser added. "We think there is another, equally important question: How much better can humans become when they have AI working alongside them? Human+ is our answer to that question."
