CHICAGO, Sept. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago-based Health Care Service Corporation will offer Medicare Advantage plans in 948 counties in 30 states and the District of Columbia. The expansion is made possible by HCSC's Medicare business acquisition in March 2025.
As a result, HCSC will offer Medicare Advantage plans in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia.

HCSC designed the 2026 Medicare Advantage product offerings to provide customers with a broad range of choices to fit their lifestyle, budget and health status. In addition to Medicare Advantage, HCSC offers standalone Medicare prescription drug plans (PDP) in 48 states and Puerto Rico as well as Medicare Supplement plans in 48 states.
HCSC is seeking all necessary regulatory approvals for 2026. The Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan Annual Election Period starts Oct. 15 and ends Dec. 7.
