HealPros awarded first place at the Global Summit on Health Technology and Education Inaugural Conference in Atlanta, GA

ATLANTA, May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The inaugural Global Summit on Health Technology and Education took place this past week in Atlanta, GA, bringing together hundreds of attendees, and affording 20 health care companies from across the country the opportunity to present their health care solutions to a distinguished panel of judges, all of whom have established track records as being health care innovators in their own right.  Competitors included health care technology and device manufacturers that offered a wide array of solutions designed to improve the delivery, monitoring, and effectiveness of health care for persons across the country, and the world.

Judges for the competition included prominent physician thought leaders from multiple specialties, health care philanthropists, technology sector investment groups, and internationally focused health care companies seeking new delivery models for supporting the expansion of health care services throughout the country, and the world.  All competing companies were asked to describe in detail the nature of problem(s) they were addressing, their business model, their growth strategy, and the long-term financial requirements for each company.
