Health Affairs' Impact Factor Rises; Ranks No. 1 Among Health Policy And Services Journals
BETHESDA, Md., June 24, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Health Affairs' continued leadership in the field of health policy is validated by its recent No. 1 ranking out of seventy-one journals in the Health Policy category. This is according to Thomson Reuters' 2015 Journal Citation Reports® (JCR) that just released impact and influence metrics from 2014 citation data. Health Affairs' Impact Factor climbed to 4.966—its highest ever—and a noteworthy increase above its 2013 Impact Factor of 4.321.
In another category, Health Care Sciences and Services, Health Affairs ranked No. 2 out of eighty-nine journals, a considerable increase from its 2013 rank of No. 5 out of eighty-five journals.
Health Affairs continues to hold the No. 1 spot in Eigenfactor® score in both categories.
