Health Foundation Of South Florida Adds Everett Wilson To Board Of Directors

MIAMI, March 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Foundation of South Florida has added J. Everett Wilson, a partner at the national law firm Akerman, LLP, to its Board of Directors. The Board leads South Florida's largest philanthropy devoted exclusively to improving the health and health services for all residents in Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.

As a partner at Akerman, Everett represents healthcare providers and other entities involved in healthcare and healthcare insurance industries. With experience in almost every aspect of health law, he focuses primarily on issues relating to Medicare and Medicaid, regulatory compliance, provider operations and managed care. His professional memberships include the American Health Lawyers Association and The Florida Bar's Health Law Section. Among his many charitable activities are serving on the Board of the South Florida Chapters of the American Red Cross and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
