He currently serves as senior executive director of IT at Stanford Health Care, supporting over 15,000 employees, enabling pivotal partnerships and ensuring digital alignment for patient-user interactions. Previously, Aunger was a senior vice president at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where he led the strategic planning and tactical execution efforts around cost balancing, business model development and technical operations optimization. Aunger is recognized for his achievement and contribution to the IT profession and is a British Computer Society Fellow. Additionally, he served in executive roles at major technology-driven organizations including Mubadala, Accenture, Citrix, NHS, Numonyx and Bupa.

Frederick has 35+ years of global and cross-industry experience in a wide variety of operating, investing and advising roles. He is a proven leader with a track record of developing new ideas, creating industry level solutions and building businesses. His operating experience includes CEO positions as well as senior executive roles in strategy, sales, marketing, development, service and finance. Frederick has built and developed high-performance teams and organizations that thrive in rapidly evolving environments. In addition, he has investment experience which includes serving as a former general partner at Venrock Associates. He also served as the global head of technology consulting at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.
