BOSTON, March 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Bridget Buckley, Co-Founder and Principal of Healthcare Data Services (HDS) and Deb Schoenthaler, Senior Director of Contracts and Finance at Beth Israel Deaconess Physician Organization, LLC (BIDPO) will be featured presenters at the "Changing Physician Relationships: Preparing for Global Payments and Managing Risk" Seminar, hosted by HFMA's (Healthcare Financial Management Association) Massachusetts-Rhode Island Chapter.
The seminar will address the changes in relationships between physicians, hospitals, and medical groups as a result of hospital and physician payment policies. Best practices for managing the clinical and business aspects of hospitals and physician networks will be discussed. Ms. Buckley and Ms. Schoenthaler will present "Managing Fee-for-Service and Global Payment Environments: Tools and Metrics Needed for Success." Using BIDPO's experience as a case study, the pair will discuss the most effective data management strategies and reporting systems to manage medical expenses and achieve quality care across a large physician network.
