Healthcare Data Services (HDS) Announces Contract with Caritas Christi Network Services
BOSTON, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Healthcare Data Services (HDS) is pleased to announce a contract with Caritas Christi Network Services (CCNS) to provide data management, reporting, and quality monitoring services through the implementation and use of HDS Analyst.
CCNS, the physician network for six hospitals of the Caritas Christi Health System, selected HDS' highly customized warehousing, querying, reporting, and workflow capabilities tool to consolidate data monitoring. Implementing HDS Analyst will enable CCNS to achieve a new level of data reporting required by the implementation of their new Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA Alternative Quality Contract (AQC).
This partnership will allow CCNS to utilize HDS Analyst, HDS' proprietary data warehousing tool, to extrapolate and organize vital healthcare and financial data from multiple disparate sources to achieve flexible, needs-based reporting systems that effectively measure and analyze information. CCNS will also use HDS Quality Manager, a NCQA-certified module, to monitor compliance with HEDIS quality measures and to capitalize on its distributed workflow capabilities.
"We are pleased to work with CCNS physicians to address the complexities of operating in today's competitive managed care environment," states Bridget Buckley, Principal of HDS. "Our partnership will allow us to work with CCNS to help reduce financial risk, cut costs by monitoring efficiencies, and further improve the quality of healthcare services offered to patients."
According to John Donlan, VP of Managed and Accountable Care for CCNS, "We selected HDS Analyst and HDS Quality Manager for the flexibility, scalability, and customization options available. These features combined with high-level industry expertise in the rapidly changing managed care landscape, puts HDS ahead of the rest."
