HealthDay's Physician's Briefing Now Offers CME credits

NORWALK, Conn., Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthDay is now offering physicians free Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits as part of its Physician's Briefing news service.

Physician's Briefing articles with AMA PRA Category 1 credits™ are available immediately and will increase to five daily articles by Dec. 1. The five specialties that will be featured include: Cardiology, Diabetes & Endocrinology, Family Medicine, Hematology & Oncology, and OBGYN & Women's Health. Additional CME specialties are planned for 2014.

According to Manhattan Research, a global pharmaceutical and healthcare market research and advisory firm, 72% of physicians own a smartphone or tablet and use this technology for professional purposes.
