HealthFitness Names Paul Lotharius CEO

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul Lotharius has been named president and CEO of HealthFitness – an award-winning provider of employee health and fitness solutions that helps companies control healthcare costs. Lotharius brings more than 20 years of experience in technology and operations management in the healthcare and insurance industries.

In his new role, Lotharius will bring a renewed focus on the use of technology and operational excellence to help companies improve the health of their employees and manage the increasing cost of medical care.

Lotharius joined HealthFitness earlier this year as president and COO. Prior to joining HealthFitness, Lotharius was president and CEO of CoreSource, Inc., one of the largest third-party administrators of employee benefits in the country. While at CoreSource, Lotharius led initiatives to invest in and leverage data analytics as the foundation for care management and wellness products that improve employee health, productivity and well-being.

Lotharius assumes the duties of president and CEO Gregg O. Lehman. With plans to launch a new company focused on acquiring healthcare IT and hospital service delivery companies, Lehman will leave HealthFitness at year end. Lotharius received his master's in business administration from Butler University and a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Purdue University.
